Explore the night sky with engaging, awe-inspiring shows at the Jenks Planetarium. The 50-foot dome provides the ultimate screen for seeing planets up close, flying to distant galaxies,and even rediscovering our own earth in ways never thought possible
Observatory Tour
Join us Friday night at the Astronomy Club of Tulsa Observatory. A caravan will make the short trip to the observatory from the conference building at 8:00 p.m. The tour will include our large dome and Meade 14" RCX400 Ritche-Chretien telescope. Additionally, volunteers from the Tulsa club will set up to observe on the field. Look for instructions in your handout packet that will include driving directions to the observatory, and all other pertinent information needed. If weather is bad on Friday, we will go Saturday night after banquet. See you there.
